So, that was quite a bold excursion that our little Super Cub wrench-turner-turned-gearhead-and-adventurer took on. With a new license and a yellow license plate, a beefed-up engine, and with a paper map, even. She’s turning into a bad girl before our very eyes, as she brazenly disobeys her teacher’s stern instructions.
(I have great memories from my long-ago visit to Kamakura, having walked along a winding trail from Kita-Kamakura Eki all the way to the Daibutsu and then down the hill to the water’s edge, with various interesting and oddball touristy ‘pilgrimage’ stops along the route.) BTW, that wasn’t an oral thermometer that she used - so what was it? |

If you've got little kids, and they refuse to cooperate with putting it under their tongue and closing their mouth, you have two alternatives. 1- put a little lube on it and shove it in their butt (which they aren't going to like, and you won't want to use that thermometer ever again). 2- put it in their armpit and then hold their arm against their side (which is what she was likely doing). You're supposed to add a small amount to it (something like 0.4 degrees F, but I don't remember the exact number), to correct for not getting an actual internal reading. ETA: They left out the bit where she got an offer of a job at a motorcycle repair shop. |

It finally came to me what I should name the Glock 19.5MOS I bought a while back. The plain 19.5 is Chika. Plain 19.5s are simple and Chika Fujiwara is a bakadere. It makes sense, right?

Had never seen it before, it has just about everything. Decapitation, dismemberment, infantcide, child molestation, lolis, torture. I’m pretty new to anime, but if this had been my first ever to watch, I think I’d have found something else to occupy my time. |
