Just out on the local news, (New Orleans) a passenger in the Airport was interviewed and she stated that she was surprised to see  soldiers, and all were carrying AK-47's.
Do any other guard units carry AK's???

Station ran the story with no correction.
Dumb shits all over the place

No NG units carry (or are authorized for that matter) AK's.  It's just BS by people who know not what they say.

It would be sweet if they did carry around AK's.

Only Special Forces carry AK-47s and thats for deniablility. I'll bet the woman wouldn't know the difference from an AK-47d an M-16. To her any mean looking rifle is an "AK-47 Hi-Powered Assault Rifle"

That was a classic glimpse into the mind of an anti-gunner.
They have been so sucessfully brainwashed, any rifle with a pistol grip, to them, is either an AK-47, or an UZI.
This womans brainwashing was so complete, she felt at liberty to go in front of a camera, and profess to the entire viewing audiance the model of firearm being carried.

UZI's and AK47's. They're all UZI's and AK47's.

To the press a bolt action rifle is a full auto bolt action revolving sniper assault anti manhole weapon. Its easy to imagine that a Glock would be mistaken for a AK47.

That has to be one cool guard unit! Or maybe Cubans took over Louisiana when we weren't looking?
Did they have Hummers or BMPs?

That woman is an idiot.

Everyone knows the correct term for any rifle that looks evil is 'machine gun'!
