Basically, it's a retelling of the history of Israel's relations with Arafat and the Palestinians, but it's a good read for anyone desiring to understand 'Arafat's War' which is what the author has chosen to name the last 30 years of Yasser Arafat's terrorism against Israel.

Basically, Krauthammer believes that Arafat will continue his never-abandoned drive to establish a Palestine 'from the river to the sea', meaning, of course, no Israel!  Israel will fight a war of annihilation against the PLO, Hamas, Hezbollah, and any other terrorist group, leave the West Bank for good, and build a security fence around Israel once and for all!
The plan is to 'attack, evacuate, separate.'

BTW, this article was written prior to the events of 9-11-2001, and prior to the announcement by Bush Administration's goal of establishing a Palestinian state.

Was reading some history on the times from 722 BC to 1 BC on the Jews and how they were dispersed throughout central Asia, (Lost tribes of Israel, etc.) very interesting stuff, especially how they would have to pay land taxes to the occupiers.  I'd still like to know why the Jews have been persecuted for so long by so many civilizations.  Israel lies between the middle east and Africa, so conquering armies always went through there, but what fueled the hate from so long ago?

That is a good explanation of why the Palestinians should be totally eliminated. There will never be peace as long as there is even one Palestinian whore left. (in the Middle East)
