I was heartless at 15. I have only had my suspicions confirmed throughout my life. It seems erickm does not make new friends very easily.
I am here because I stumbled upon this site as I was looking for good trustworthy information about the AR-15 I have been salivating (drip,drip) over for the last two years. The info at this site is priceless as far as I am concerned and helped me greatly with my recent purchase. I have been nothing but impressed with the quality of posts by your members and your basic ideas about gun control and living life like it should be done... with high morals about yourself, your neighbor and your government(most of it anyway). You should be commended for carrying on what the past generations fought and died for not too long ago. What I did not expect was to have some whiney elitist blow garbage in my face because I couldn't afford an AR-15 several years ago. Don't go away mad erickm... just go away. |

I think his point is that it is alot of these new members that are causing alot of the problems as of late. It also seems that alot of the recent trouble makers are of a younger age...many of which I doubt actually own a gun. I would guess that at least 10% of the members here are under 16, and it is these members that cause alot of whining posts.

Don't go away mad erickm... just go away. you didn't know what I meant in my post, I mean we have a lot of resident crazies who normally when a person with seven posts starts talking about AR-15s (imagine that!) or preferred brands of rolling papers (ziz-zag vs. top) they will jump on them "WTF, why only seven posts and a question like that, what alphabet agency do you work for? oh you don't? prove it newbie" stuff like that. I like having new people around, means that more people are buying ARs, which in turn means our gov. is getting more scared. Also a small percentage of the newbies will be crazies themselves who talk to god via yahoo messenger, wear ghillie suits to the mall and have self-destruct sequences on their urban-condo-bunker for when it's time to bravo-oscar (bug-out). sorry, if it seemed like I was ragging new people I'm not, we need more people. |
