I have two rules for beer. Never drink anything but a pale ale when playing pool. Otherwise you will be heavier then lead and will miss all yer shots. If you are sitting down drinking always smoke Camels. Guiness is for sitting down drinking. It is heavier then hell. Never drink two 40 oz bottles of red bull back to back. Most don't have the volume capacity. I saw my friend over flow himself, he only threw up because he was full up to the back of his throat all ready.
I have a couple of rules for whiskey. Never more then 15 shots in 30 minutes. Or you will get into a fight and your friends will have to push you to the concrete so that you don't get into serious trouble, this causes abrasions to your forehead. Never drink Tequila, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth the next day, all day long. Because of this I take one beer every six months, and 1 glass of Wine when I can get it. Never was much of a drinker. But my brother is Navy so he drinks HIS Share, My Share and fifteen other peoples Shares. |

I think it obvious what most people think is the best beer - IN THE WORLD.
"Budweiser - Brewed and sold since 1876, "The King of Beers" is the largest-selling beer in the world. Budweiser has been the world's best-selling beer since 1957, and is distributed in more than 70 countries. Budweiser leads the U.S. Premium beer category, outselling all other domestic premium beers combined. In fact, one in almost every five beers sold in the United States today is a Budweiser. Guinness, period.
There are two N's for you bastid's too drunk to read the tap. |
|
From some of the selections posted I'm surprised that some of you "limp wristed", guys can even get the beer to your mouth.
Anyway free beer is always the best! |
|
Budwiser,Miller and Bush all suck this stuff makes real beer look bad . I have been drinking porters for as long as I have been drinking.
I would take an empty bottle of Guinness filled with water and drink that and it would still be a better beer than Miller,Budwiser or Bush. Life is to short to drink cheap beer |

havoc's top three:
1) Paulaner Heffeweisen 2) Victorian Bitter 3) Guinness Enjoy... [beer] havoc |

FREE Beer is the best, but if I have to pay I'll take Bud Light.
Be AMERICAN.......Drink AMERICAN!! |

Good stuff! ...edited because I knew that only one N didn't look quite right. I'm sober for 12 years and I still remember that excellent brew. "Gimme a triple Chivas rocks to back that up, Wench!!!" |

I vote for Sam Adams (regular) when a good and full flavored beer is needed (dinner, socializing, etc). But after a hot day of labor, hunting, or working, a cold Coors sure goes down quite smooth...
JRB |

Guinness #1 (NOT in a bottle, yuck)
Samuel Adams Scotch Ale Samuel Adams Porter McEwens Scotch Ale Sierra Porter New Castle EDIT: cuz im stupid sometimes :P |

I only like three types of beer:
1) other peoples 2) cold 3) hot If they aren't availble I always have a keg of Shiner Bock in my kegerator!! www.shiner.com |

Shiner Bock (tastes just as good in CA as it does in Houston!).
Aside from that my favorite beer is cold beer! [beer] |

Paul is right: Victoria Bitters (VB Down Under in OZ) is the best beer I have ever had, bar none.
After my last trip to OZ, I searched all over the United States for some VB without success. I bet I know why too...the American brewers don't want any part of bringing Aussie beer in. [beer] |

If you morons would quit paying $6 for a 6-pack of imported crap, you would have more money to spend on guns and ammo! [:D]

TAX-FREE!
The taxes the government makes off my homebrew wouldn't be enough to wash the glasses, let alone provide funding for the Firearms Act. |
|
Gordon Biersch Marzen (medium heavy) Mmm, Mmm![beer]
Pilsner Urquell (best when ICE cold) Shiner Bock (a great every day beer from that lil' brewery in Shiner, TX) Carlsberg and Tuborg (Danish varieties only) Almost anything from England (Abbot Ale comes to mind) |
|
It depends on what I wasnt, but #1 is Guinness!!! Then comes Murphy's and Boddingtons, then Strongboughs and Woodpecker Cider.
|
|
Does anyone know any other good Irish or Scottish beer other then Guinness?
Also I just tryed a Gray-Irish Ale and it was great |
|
Samuel Adams. Brewer. Patriot.
And damn tasty besides. Double Diamond from England is one noone's mentioned yet so I will. Moosehead. Then there's this microbrew stuff they serve in Jerome, Arizona, at the pizza joint there . . . mmmmmmmmmmm . . . Anybody ever tried that? I can't remember the name. Bud sucks. I do appreciate their support of gun-related stuff, but their beer is swill. I only drink it if someone else is buying it. I wish they would come out with something that tastes like Sam Adams. |

When in Germany, you must do as the Germans! Drink nothing but beer, what is water?
So I brought the practice home with me. While in Grafenwehr last year, I learned what beer heaven was. The best for a long day was, Mai Bock. Dang, it was strong but good. One and you were on your way to a groovy night! SHINER! Agree with the comment "canoe in water..." But I would equate that with just about any typical American made beer. doctorfireant - Where can you get Shiner Hefewizen? If I could find that close by without having to go to Shiner, I would be changed man. Those two words together would be pure ectasy! Anyone remember Blue Velvet?
Frank Booth (Dennis Hopper): "Heineken?!? F Heineken! Pabst Blue Ribbon!" I have to break it down by type: Stout - Guinness 821212 (I've tried tons of other stouts and for some reason no one else even comes close) Porter - Black Butte Porter (when am i going to Oregon again? soon!) Ale - Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (best for the price) Cheap stuff - Budweiser "El Rey de las cervezas" Cheap stuff #2 - Miller High Life (they also have the best beer commercials right now) |

I am happy to see that there are some Alaskans out there. Up here Alaskan Oatmeal Stout is the only beer to drink.
