hey, Blondie, here's your chance to shoot a wide variety of firearms to get a feel for what you like.

i strongly recommend the shoots.  besides, rubbing elbows (i believe the yuppies of today call it networking) never hurts!

just do a search for Blonde_Bombshell, read the 9 (yes, that's nine pages of...well, i haven't figured out just what it was yet.  but read it anyway.  you'll get a pretty good feel for who she is.

glad you're back.  hope the absence wasn't for bad reasons.

Nope.  Financial reasons for starters. Also I had become a fat lazy POS and spent every living second at home on the net.  Since I've canceled my ISP I've lost 38 lbs.!!  Whoo Hooo!!! Only another 50 to go!

I'm still not connected at home but I'm on campus right now.

Don' have time to read nine pages of anything on ar15.com right now but who ever Blondie is she, along with everyone else, is welcome to come to the shoot.

Wish we could go.. but like my bf said, we are some 5-6 hours away...its far, we will try though!

Well if you can make it BB, we would love to have you there.  Ummm, we would love it if you & your bf were present.

As of last night we have 4 stages , so we SHOULD have some time to plink afterwards.  We are going to start shooting around 11am so that should give everyone who has to drive a little extra time to get here.

BTW we will be shooting some steel so no AP or green tips please.  Steel is expensive to replace.

I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it.

FINALLY looked at the map, and figgered out its s 3.5 hour drive. Seven hours total. I'm just too cranky for that.

Have fun guys, and shoot a bull for me.

Sorry to hear that gm.[:(]

You wouldn't want to stay until Sunday morning huh?  Last time I looked the cheapo motel was still around $25 a night...

I can tell you about a quicker way than comming up 77 to 421 that will save 20 to 25 minutes...

Hey, would love to go, but me and BB are in Pitt County, which is roughly a six hour drive. Too much for one with job/school responsibilities. But next spring I'll be in the "real world", which greatly increases my/our freedom.

Is there going to be another big shoot next spring or summer? I've only been in NC for 2 1/2 years now, and would love to see the mountains during the warmer parts of the year. I would camp it, but BB can't even live without a curling iron, so that's out of the question if she's with me...

Anyway, have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't do! (or if you do, do it well...)

Damn... an I felt guilty (an I got all kinds of excuses)... now I don't know what to think...

If'n The GM cna't make it cuz of a 3-1/2 hr. trip I guess my sorry arse can't be too remorseful...  ;)

Say... GM... jes what 'map' did you consult... if'n it's one ah them online deals they assumes a 45-50 mph ave. with 2 wreaks/construction zones in-between fer yuks... soes a no problem trip normally taking 2 hours shows up as say 3 hours on they crapola...

FWIW...

Hope while ya'll be having fun ya remember to keep Our Cause in mind and pass on to NC residents... and for that matter all other Amigos-in Arms who are residents of nearby states that will figure into the deal.. do whatever you can individually to promote the NC 'CCW Reciprocity' portion of the following aforementioned bills...

---- Previously posted in this thread as an NC Alert regarding SB680 & HB442 ----

[ originally addressing the 'gun show' deal, but now turned to Our favor re CCW CCW reciprocity ]

For the latest from downtown Raleighwood go to... www.legislature.state.nc.us/gascripts/billnumber/billnumber.pl?S ession=2001&BillID=SB680

Click on 'Edition 6' (dated 10/8/01) at...

www.legislature.state.nc.us/html2001/bills/AllVersions/Senate/S6 80v6.html

Note that the gun show restrictions have been canned... I believe you have to go back to 'Edition 4' for them to be extant...

And for some really great news... note that this latest version includes CCW reciprocity to go along with HB 442... be sure to let the pols know you want this passed...

Hope this helps...

I'm sorry that some of you guys won't be able to make it.  I just got back from setting up the stages at the range and I think it will be a lot of fun to shoot. But I understand.

Don't worry about the $10 GS, and I'll send you my...ughh...the winner's mailing address so you can send off that very generous gift certificate you mentioned!
