Any suggestions for a shotgun sling? It only has a swivel post at the butt end.

You can get a giles-type tactical sling at http://www.slingsystem.com . The front sling attachment is a small nylon cord that goes around the barrel. It seems to work well enough, and you aren't going to be firing enough shotgun shells to get the barrel red-hot anyway. It's easy to find sling swivels that you can add to the end of the magazine tube, which gives you an easy way to attach a conventional strap sling.

Mine has a hole in the bayo lug and the mag tube end cap. They make a mount that screws in either one. I bought a super slingII from Wal-Mart It fits like it was made just for a 590, and was only $15.00

Big_Bear I like the sling attachment, but I don't want the mag extension. I emailed Mossberg to see if they have a suggestion.
