Anybody play on line games say Unreal tournament or Quake 3? I enjoy play Capture the flag in UT. Anyone one play, possible have a sever?

I quit playing Quake III and ST Elite Force when "Tribes" came out... that game is the shiznit!

I cant wait til the Tribes 2 demo comes out.

???  Tribes 2 has been out for months.  I've been playing that for at least ½ year.  

Played UT for quite a while, but I've been in Diablo too much lately. Waiting for HALO, but now I undresatnd it's only coming out for the X box.

Tribes 2 "DEMO" isnt out yet... they had a beta version a while back, but now there are no servers that support it.

They're supposed to have a better DEMO out late this fall.

I know T2 is out, just not a playable demo.

I don't play that often anymore but I used to be heavily involved in online gaming.  I even was ranked 15th for an entire quarter for UT DM.  I have since cut back quite a bit in order to regain a family life though I with a few others still run a whole bunch of game servers here in Utah.  If you are around the west check out any of our freakshow servers playing Quake, Quake2, Quake3, Half Life Counter Strike, Tribes2 or Wolfenstien Demo just connect to "freakshow.xmission.com" and you will connect to one of two servers more than capable of handling the load.  One server is running a dual P3 866 and the other is a dual P3 950 both running linux, the OS of the gods.  [:)]

The Wolfenstien demo is out? Man...I gotta go get it. I saw the E3 demo, it looks amazing!

COUNTER-STRIKE here.  it's why I grew to like the ar15 (m4).  how similar is the real gun to game?

What, all the AR-15 afficianados here and no-one plays Infiltration?

This game is the best of the real-life mods (runs on Unreal Tournament engine). The graphics are unbelievable. Spanks Counterstrike. Gameplay is very realistic, I almost have a heart attack every time someone sneaks up behind me and lets me have it at close range with a shotty. Other plusses, running in the snow it goes "squish, squish" and leaves footprints, sounds of gunfire in the distance echo realisticly, guns are accurately portrayed and work/reload/sound like the real thing.

Weapons- you name it. MP5, Desert Eagle, M-9, M16A2, FN Five-Seven, FN P90, PSG-1, Benelli M1 s90, AKMSU, Sig SG551 SWAT, H&K M69A1 grenade launcher and of course M67 grenades. Next version will include the Minimi M249 SAW.

My favorite loadout for a CQB map is an M-16 with M203 and a FN P90. Sometimes a Benelli M1 S90. For large maps I carry the FN and a Robar RC50.

Only downside- the FREE download for the mod is over 100 mb.

Used to play Quake2 online ALL THE TIME...was even a member of a "clan."  One week, in Capture The Flag I was rated number 15th in the world...and realized I played that game too damn much (much to my wife's shagrin).
