Damn man, patience.
You have to remember that it's 2:30 am on the west coast and 5:30 am on the east coast.

On the other hand I have a fine pest control device in the form of a M700 in .220 swift with a SA 6.5-20x56 mm scope.

This is all we are allowed to have here in the USA.  We really don't like guns anyway, we prefer to call 911 and our mommies when danger is nearby.  After all, cops are the only ones really trained properly in the use of high powered sniper rifles.

We used to hunt those in Boy Scouts.  Some kinda bird.  Please don't show pictures of those gun thingies any more.

Those are illegal right?
So are revolvers right?
Thats what the bilboards say,
report anyone with illegal weapons
and have a pic of a revolver.
But to have a sniper rifle wow
dont they send in Janet Reno after your
ass for those?

I traded in all my sniper rifles for wal-mart gift certificates at a gun buy back. I feel much safer now!

Well, mine's not in yet but this is what it's gonna look like.  Scope will be different though.  By the way, if you want a Remington 700P in .308, email me;  I know where you can get one brand new for $675.  Found the place on Snipercountry.com.

Guns are bad. Sniper rifles are even worse. They are right up there with assault weapons.

The Brady Campaign and my doctor tell me so.

Here's one of them... actually the one I love the most, although not necessarily the best.

Here's a group.  225 yards and five rounds.  Not too shabby for a semi-auto .308.  Maybe I'll toss one of my registeted sear packs on it and make the guys at the range cringe with horror.  :)

wgunn,

I'll be looking to give that HK of yours some competition once I get my AR10 whipped into shape.   The current A4 chrome lined 20 inch upper is able to hold 1MOA with my best handloads but it just can't do much better than that as it stands now.   I do full well intend to have a custom upper built though in 260Remington or maybe 7mm-08 and that will be a  no-compromises upper, I'm hoping to be able to hold 1/2 MOA all day long with the accurized upper.   Can't wait to buy some REAL nice optics for the thing too.

As for what the rifle looks like right now,

The AR10 will likely be a big brother rifle in terms of capability and range to that of my squirrel rifle AR15, pretty much all the same tweaks to get the rifle to fit comfortably and even a similar choice in optics where the AR15 has a 6.5-20 Leupold Long Range the AR10 will likely get an 8.5-25 Long Range and I'll keep a Leupold M3 around for other shooting.

REAL OLD PIC of the squirrel rifle before it went through a couple stages of refinishing and tweaking for a better finish and fit.

As for registered sear packs, ya gots me beat there!    Though if I can ever get out of california I have got this wet dream for getting a registered M16 lower to put a burst group into it and then mate a suppressed 300Whisper upper to it.

I don't know what you're talking about.  All I have are target and hunting rifles.  Sniper rifles scare me! [;)]

Yup... you need to get out of California.  That place has totally gone down the drain.  Then you can put a .300 Whisper on a lower, like the one at the bottom of this picture.  :)  It's an M16A2 (Colt) factory gun.  I've been thinking about getting a .300 Whisper for it too...

Since Rich314's local PD thinks it could be a sniper rifle I can post it can't I?

I don't know the difference between a sniper rifle and a regular rifle but I'll post one of my shootin' irons anyway.

Model 12BVSS.223 with a SharpShooter trigger, stock and muzzle brake.

Cold barrel POI is dead on scary. Will shoot Black Hills 52gr Moly .5-.7 most all day long.

TO GUS:

Well as old George was fond of saying,"
Fixed Fortifications are an anachronism."

But I bet that thing could scare the crap out me if I were 20 miles away.  Mount a counter- battery radar on top of that beast and it would be dangerous.
