Personally I don't believe a word but it makes an etertaining story .........


A class of school children started a class project to make a planter to
take home. They wanted to use a plant in it that was easy to take care
of, so it was decided to use cactus. The students were given greenware
pottery planters shaped like a clown which they painted with glaze and had
professionally fired at a class outing so they could see the
process.

It was great fun.


They planted the cactus seeds in the finished planters and they
grew nicely, but unfortunately the students were not allowed to take
them home. See the attachment to understand why. The cactus plants were
removed and replaced by a small ivy, at which point the children were
allowed to take them home. The teacher said cactus seemed like a good idea
at the time...

It could have been worse. They could`ve used cucumbers![:D]

That's the kind of thing I need to see to cheer me up on a slow Tuesday!  Garandman, I would not put it past our public education system to let something like that slip by.  They are too busy worrying about keeping prayer and the pledge of allegiance out of school!
