Am I too old for presents? :) I could think of a few pistols and rifles I could use... So what did all of you do on your 21st birthday?  I think I will hit the bar for a tall one.

Spent the night drinking Baccardi 151 in C Co. 2/505 barracks, then projectile vomiting from the window (2nd floor) after I finished the bottle... felt REALLY bad on the battalion run the next AM

Don out

I turned 19 in boot camp in Camp Pendleton.  We did the ocean run that day.  It was raining and I was sick.  It sucked!  But hey, if it ain't rainin', it ain't trainin'.  :)  Thanks.

Happy birthday man, I'll be 27 tomorrow.

You get there faster than you think.

That was many years ago.  All I remember was playing quarters with shots of tequilla.  I remember everytime someone sunk one I heard "Happy Birthday" and was then handed the shot glass.

I don't remember anything else...

What I did on my 21st B-day pales in comparison to what I got--a Pre-Ban Colt 16" HB Flat-Top AR15. Yup, my first legal firearm and she remains to be among my most favored to this very day. I'm sure I partied with my friends, but can only seem to remember picking up that new carbine.

Smalls,
I turned 18 in MC boot camp. Don't remember if it was in San Diego or Pendleton though. FWIW, I turn 43 on the 26th. My wife is getting me a KVAR stock set for my SAR and a Kobra sight.
Happy birthday, Jarhead.

Well, smalls here in Florida I would buy my first handgun but seeing your in Michigan you already had that right for 3 years

[:(!]

How about an NFA gun. You won't get it for a few months, but...a 14.5" FA M4 w/ M203 (The real one) would be nice.

I would pass up on the heavy drinking if I were you though.

How about a trip to Biloxi, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Las Vegas, or Atlantic City. I'd choose Las Vegas. At least they have legal hookers.

Vegas also has Front Sight, check it out.

Hey thanks everyone!  I think I'm going to wait until midnight and go and pick up a six-pack. [}:D]  Thanks for all the advice.  I'm going to look into all the licenses I can get.  I already have a C&R FFL in the mail. :)

Thanks again!

Yeah just bought a six pack of Miller Light!  I'm drinking my first beer since turning 21!  While surfing on ar15.com!  Might not be a big deal to you, but do you remember what it was like to turn 21.. :)

Prepare to spend a lot of money of drinking then wondering where your money went.  Please note that you don't have to be an alcoholic for this phenominon to occur.
