Suppose that if you're found to have ONE piece of Milsurp hardware on your AR, is the whole thing now considered Surplus and thus subject to destruction? Nahhh, they'd NEVER try that, would they? This affects only law abiding, taxpaying gunowners and militaria collectors. It is a POS law written by a freedom hating legislator, and it's important that we fight it as hard as we can to insure that it does NOT pass. BTT and Request that this be Tacked. |

The antis keep trying this. It would confiscate or destroy anything from your M1 Garand from the CMP up to a fully restored $1.25 million P51 Mustang. Apparently they consider armed citizens in a time of terrorist attack a threat to liberalism. The politicians will protect us, don't you know? [puke]

Garand Shooter, got a ".gov" link to this? I truly don't doubt it. And although I don't see where gas masks would fall under any of this, including Centauro97's post, I have heard rumors that the M40 gas masks (bubble faced) can not be obtained anymore due to the gov't had any remaining ones sliced so that they couldn't be used anymore, or should I say "demilitarized."
Seriously though. Get me a link with a ".gov" address and I'll tack it for a few days unless the Staff feels it shouldn't be. |
