I always wanted a preban AR and now I have one. I am going to put the correct 3 prong flash hider on it to make it complete I hope you enjoy the pic.

I dig A1 uppers! Put the 3 prong on and that's what you'll have. Very lightweight, 20 inch barrel, and accurate enough. I can put a full 30 round mag into a 5 inch group at 100 meters, off a toolbox with my A1. (This is shooting about 1 shot every 3 seconds with iron sights and a sizzling hot rifle, for anyone saying "you suck")

I am jealous and have decided that I am starting to dislike you. YOu and anybody with a pre-ban who can put on retractable stocks, flash hider, suppressors, make it into SBR's and other cool looking fun stuffs.

Looks like a nice stock SP1 from the 1970s. Why put a three-prong on it? That's only correct if you have a really old AR from the 1960s, and you have a non-trap door buttstock. From what I can see of the stock, according to the fixed swivel, you have a trapdoor buttstock and therefore a correct rifle. Don't muck it up!

BTW, in the movie didn't you carry an M60? [;)]

Screw the Vortex. Either leave the one you have on, or go with a Phantom.

Phantom = Bomb-Proof.

Vortex = Potentially Bent Prongs.

The M16 I carried in Basic training had a, 3 prong flash hider, forward assist, 4 digit serial# that began with 4, marked "Colt's Armalite"

The hider on the gun appears to be the correct one. Only very early rifles have the 3 prong...
