Go to [url]www.cnet.com[/url] and search for pop-up killers in the sofware section.
I don't have any personal experience with the various programs, and there are a lot of them, but some people swear by them, and other people feel they will mess up your system. |

Go to [url]http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/pow.htm[/url] and download POW!
It will kill popups. It works like this: you go to a site, such as tripod that has a popup. When it appears on your monitor, you use the simple POW! menu to add that popup to the list, and the next time you hit a tripod site, that popup disappears as soon as it opens. Good luck. |
