This action makes perfect sense. Terrorist prey on the weak (unarmed) among us. The anti gun movement in the US has caused ten times more harm than good to our country. Now, when ordinary citizens COULD make a huge difference by carry weapons onboard civilian aircraft, we have become programmed against this by the socialists among us.

Lets say 25% of passengers carry concealed onboard a commercial aircraft. That's 50 armed citizens at least on a large jet. You tell me how 4-5 armed terrorists are going to take on that number of people, they don't know who is armed and who isnt....

Some will say 'gee what if somebody shoot a hole in the plane or accidently kills an innocent person during the conflict.

Is that worse than what happend in NYC and Virginia? (The Pengaton is in Virginia, not Washington DC.)

gunnews.com reports as follows 21:30h CST 17 Sept
:
"This from Sierra Times: To Our Readers: We apologize for publishing the story about the Brazilian Parliament approving the carrying of firearms on airflights by passengers. This story was apparently a hoax. We at Sierra Times have no excuse for believing the story, other than the wishful thinking that some intelligent life might remain on this planet. Steps are being taken to see that such occurrences does NOT happen again."
