Subject: Don’t let the terrorists win: What you can do today



Today our headquarters has been hearing from Volunteers and members from across
America about the devastation that has violated the spirit of our sacred nation.



Tax reform is less urgent than confronting the biggest challenge our country has
ever faced, but we are Americans, and we do challenges very well.  The first
step towards healing comes from the determination that we will not allow a
victory for cowardice and terrorism.  If the goal was to bring the U.S.A. to its
knees, then we must respond by defiantly leaping to our feet.

Those of you who donate your time, energy, and money to the cause of tax reform
know the battle we face daily.  Many of you tell me, “I’ll do whatever it takes
to make tax reform a reality.”  Well, you need that same commitment now.  

We have a choice to make.  Do we sit by and just hope things will be OK, or do
we make the decision actively to make a difference?  

We owe the Americans murdered our dedication to ensure that our American way of
life continues and prospers.  You have the power and ability to make this
tribute a reality.  

While others sit and wait for the markets to open to find out what the economy
is going to do, we each can do our part to ensure that we move our economy
forward by taking action.  Financial experts are watching our retail purchasing,
savings, and investment numbers with the hope that we will not halt economic
activity due to this crisis. Let's show them we can move the markets.

Have you wanted to open a savings account?  Open it today.  What about that
special gift you have wanted to buy for a friend or loved one, or someone you
know that has also suffered a great loss?  Now is the time to make those
purchases you have been considering.  What better day to buy it than today?  Buy
an American Flag and maybe one for your neighbor.  That priceless family picture
sitting in the drawer needs a frame.  Take the family out for dinner.  Let us
each commit to doing our part.  We know there is truth in the fact that one
person can make a difference.

Yes, one person can make a difference, but real power comes in numbers.  We ask
that you share this message with others.  Take a moment and forward this e-mail
to those in your address book.  The terrorists intended to cripple our economy
by their actions - don’t let them get away with it!  We stand tall, and the true
victor will be America.  Be thankful for our great nation, and be proud to be an
American.
