I'm not sure if this has been discussed, but I heard, this morning, that either a police officer, or firefighter came out of the rubble relatively 'fine'.  The amazing part is that he was on the 86th floor when the building came down.

Now, just recently, 5 firefighters took refuge within an SUV, and they have just been pulled out alive.

Good news in a horrible tragedy.

It was a police officer and he broke both of his legs.  I would take 2 broken legs over the alternative.

What a story he will have to tell but his luck must be all but run out.......  I am happy for he and his family though.......

Like I posted elsewhere: some winning lottery tickets don't pay in cash!

The "five firefighters" story turned out to be a media error.  See link:
