Be sure that your carbine has the later-style mag release/lock which is designed to be used with 30 rd mags. Otherwise, beaucoup malfs.

I buy my .30 Carbine from "AMMOMAN" at $119.00 per 500. New USGI mags at last Gunshow were $9.00 with 5 different contractors represented. The 30 rounders were $15.00 each.

CMP, if you're eligible to buy from them, has .30 Carbine for 1080/$170.70 shipped in bandoleers in cans.
BTW, they are currently out of all 30.06 though they imply that the 400 rd. cans will be available again. |

Prices haven't move on ammo but most of the guns have (If it was an AR-X, it was gone). I picked up a case of .45 cal for the same old price.
