If we go to war with these bastards, I have plans.  As soon as I finish training/spend 6 mos. in MOS (National Guard, 13F), I am going to get enlisted active duty and go to jump school. I want my piece of these bastards.  Who is with me?

IM HOPING FOR THE DRAFT MYSELF>DONT REALLY CARE HOW OTHER 38 year olds want to do.  I'm not staying here of I can go.
----------

I tried, sigh, they won't take me - I'm 38, we'd have to get the draft going in order for me to be able to go.

They will only take us (38-45) if we reinstate the draft.

I posted this earlier on another thread, but I left a voicemail with the Marine Corps prior service recruiter this morning. According to the news, they're being inundated with calls. Rally 'round the flag, boys!

If they won't take a 38 y.o. I doubt they'd take me back at 41 even with prior service.

I'd go back as a private if they'd take me.

Come on, let me back in, I'll gut out BT, and be as good a infantry rifleman as you could hope for.

I would like to know why I am too old when I can do more now than I could at 18.

Satcong, if they send troops, they're going to need workers and munitions plants as well. Maybe they'll let you sign a few bombs.
