Also in Ferguson's home was a Nazi flag and a cache of weapons that included two assault rifles. He had apparently his weapons for Saturday's killing spree from home and had converted semiautomatic weapons into fully automatic ones.

When an aquaintance bumped into him a year and a half ago he was talking about robbing armoured cars.

Just another reason why CA needs to relax its gun laws--so sane people can defend themselves from the rest of the filth there.

Can you imagine the numbers of dead there would be if any person who went knutty was actually a shooter instead of just some looser with a gun.

Imagine a prarie dog shooter with a silenced 220 Swift who can take one shot kills on dawgs all day long at 500yds.

I guess I for one am glad that sport/recreation shooters are more stable than security guards.

I have thought of this myself. If a well-trained shooter with a plan, like a Charles Whitman, ever decided to go on a shooting spree he do some serious damage.

Like you said, it's a good thing the shooters are a bit more stable.

Even without a suppressor, by the time you heard the sound, the show would be over.

What exactly would be the advantage to a "silenced" supersonic round anyway? I realize the dust signiture could be reduced but the damn noise....

even though NAZI stands for National Socialist German Workers Party. this Ferguson cat will be called a Right-wing extremists. if only they banned the AK-47's people would be safer...oh wait they did ban those AK-47's in california.

he had two full-auto assault rifles and did no more damage than the russian dude that just had a knife. Hmmmm. [:\]

the illusion of safety is a powerfull one. notice how rare mass homicides are in areas of high gun-ownership with concealed carry.

also notice how common this occurs in more highly populated areas than less populated areas. highly populated areas enjoy more restrictions on gun ownership.

the AK-47 rifle that arms Fidel Castro's troops, being the benovolent communal revolutionary that he is. serves a purpose for the betterment of society. an AK-47 in the hands of U.S. citizens is dangerous. why someone who believes in arynism "might" use it to kill people.

the AK-47. the weapon of choice of terroists and homicidal maniacs. unless their marxists of course.

We have contenders Charles Whitman and James Huberty representing real shooters.

ohhh, a NAZI flag is sooooooo dangerous.  Glad they mentioned that in the article.  [rolleyes]

Realistically he probably did have some disorder and maybe loved Nazi's or something, but saying "also found was a Nazi flag" ruins it for collectors of history and memorabilia.
