Guys, Can we really let this happen? I can spare
the cost of a meal for Tim...say 16 bucks or twenty. Can someone else help out ? I couldn't get a LEGP and I'll be damned if someone like Tim has to give his up. Tim....I have a mountain bike that you can have buddy.

What did we do with the Brothers in Arms funds?

Sounds like a good cause to me, though it could be argued that Tim is trying to solve his own problems before relying on welfare.

Same here.

Is there anyway that we could pool our resources together to purchase the weapons, and give them to Anti on a permant loan basis?  Would keep him from selling them [:D]

If we have some Brothers in arms funds left I also vote that we use some of that since Tim did so much work on the LEGP for us!

Guys, I think it's time for Tim's creation to serve it's master.  I think this qualifies for the "Brothers in Arms" fund. Opinions?

Don -- I agree with that 100%.
I can think of no one more deserving at this point!

If it's not too much trouble, G&B should set up a separate account or paypal account for folks to contribute to directly.

About how much does a new bike cost now a days because if we just send the money to someone near him they buy the bike then give it to him that would be great.

is tim selling a rifle to buy a road bike?

yo, tim...i'll through in a pair of my old chanois lined lycra team shorts!!! i think the brown marks will come out!

where do we send the money?

jeez, i own 18 road racing bikes. i otta just sell him one of mine! (but...nooooooooo! tim has to have carbon fibre! good old columbus slx double butted and rifled chrome molybdenum tubing from italy isn't good enough for him! lol!!)

I know what it's like to need something, and having to sell something you love to get it.
That's wrong, and if your brother in arms can't help you, then this world is fucked.

It really moves me to see so many "good" people in this world.  I am in, tell me where/who to send $$ to.

I hope someone takes charge of this effort and makes it happen, there seem to be a lot of people serious about helping.

I'm in for $20. If Tim sells the guns, someone's gonna have to bitch slap him!

I'm in for twenty as well. Just say where and when. Paypal or a cc# would sure be a hell of alot easier than a money order.

I'll put in $20 too.  That LEGP is the sweetest thing I've shot in a long time.  It's the least I can do to say thanks to Tim.
Grin / Goatboy - is someone collecting funds or should we just mail to Castle Arms?

I asked Goatboy and Don R. to set up a special paypal account to handle this.

Once we have everything set up, I'll pin this note to the top and post the info here.

Also..  the "Brothers in Arms" fund should be built up after this event in the event that another one of our "family" needs assistance in the future.

THIS is what it's all about !

I doubt he is selling #s 3 & 4 to buy a bike, even if he does want to get back in shape after he heals up from the operation.

He will have a fair amount of uncovered medical expenses plus real estate taxes to pay.

The Brother's in Arms fund is still intact.
Ed, ED Sr & I are overseeing it.  We want to make it available to members in need so we would prefer to give out only 10-20% of the fund at a time to a member in need.

If any of you want to use a credit card on Castle Arm's website ordering page, you can still donate to the Bros In Arms fund but earmark the entire donation for Tim's medical expenses.  Just put a comment in the Billing Address box to that effect.

Or can mail a check to Castle Arms address, payable to Tim Greene - NOT Castle.  I think this would be the best way.

Let me play Satcong for a minute here...

The road is long with many a winding turn
That leads us to who knows where, who knows when
But I'm strong--strong enough to carry him
He ain't heavy, he's my brother

So on we go--his welfare is my concern
No burden is he to bear--we'll get there
For I know he would not encumber me
He ain't heavy, he's my brother

If I'm laden at all--I'm laden with sadness
That everyone's heart isn't filled with the gladness of love for one another
It's a long, long road from which there is no return
While we're on our way to there
Why not share?

And the load--it doesn't weigh me down at all
He ain't heavy, he's my brother
He ain't heavy, he's my brother
He ain't heavy. He's my brother

"He Ain't Heavy...He's My Brother"

Hey Guys....

ANTI must keep those damn guns.  It's principle !  Never give up a firearm unless it's to your kids...  [:D]

Especially since he conceived the whole project and worked so damn hard on it for all of us!
