I got hungry while browsing the boards so I go walk over to our local "fast food eatery" called Pudgy Burger. I step in order my food and BAM I got a job offer. The owner asked "Can you work Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday at 4:30 to close" And I said yeh. He said ok, your hired. Fill out the application just so I can file it and come in tommorrow to start work. That easy. Wow. I got another job and all I wanted was a burger. Life is good.

Don't laugh guys but one of my best friend from high school and I used to work at local Mc Donalds when in high school. Its been over 20 years since that time and he still works for McDonald but now he earns 6 figure income. All that on McDonald education.

2 years in college, 5 years in University and 14 years in corporate world and I still don't make 6 figures. I think it's going to take another 2-3 years to reach it [>Q]

Yes, you can make 6 figures working for a chain like that, even Radio Shack. Usually, you're either _the_ manager in an extremely busy location, or more commonly a DM or RM. But, do you really want to work 90-100 hours a week and deal with some of the most idiotic people on the planet to make that kind of money?

Well... yes.

I work 60-100 hours a week with a group of smart, well educated, egotistical and most self-centered liberal people you will ever meet. I have to go to lunch and sometimes dinner with these people and act as if I care about their stupid conversation. What a bunch of rectums. To top it all off, I could have made more money flipping burgers.

If your only 2-3yrs away then move to NY if it's so important to hit 6 figures. Then give up your guns, to me, and your rights.
Florida salaries are 25% lower than NY in my profession.
Do some job hopping.
