5,408 users currently online...yeah, some of them are guitar players.

I noodle around a little but nothing anyone else would find entertaining. That said, I loved seeing your Eddie Van Halen guitar. I wish he'd get his shit, and band, together.

EDIT--hey, I just noticed you're in Ohio too. Head over to the Hometown forum, there's a shoot at Miller's this weekend.

Not a PRS fan at all.

I too wish old EVH would get his stuff together but I think he's way over the edge.

Such a shame that urban camo M-II has a dumb-ass Floyd Rose bridge.

I used to not like Floyds either. Have you ever played one at any length?

I am not into them at all, but a good friend of mine is REALLY into guitars and playing as well. Guitars to him are what EBRs are to me. The last time I counted, he had 7 Gibson Les Paul's, and a couple of acoustics. I dont pretend to know anything about them, but there is more money in one of them than any of my AR's.

One of them is signed by Eric Clapton also

Yeah, but I have a feeling I'm not as good as you

WOW! That's some pretty nice stuff!

I seen Larry Mitchell once probably 1990 or so. He was in Billy Squier's band.

EDIT: I have some tunes I played on at myspace.

I've had an Ibanez RG-470 with one since 2002. I'll never buy a guitar with one again.

I build custom amps as a hobby and it just keeps growing. All word of mouth up until about a year ago when I put up the website. I am getting two or three calls a week now. I may finally be able to quit my day job.

Larry knows everybody who ever picked up a guitar and got famous. Really super nice guy. When you watch him play guitar you just want to cut your fingers off.

Like actually in person? I've only seen Buck Owens (RIP) and Roy Clark on TV.

In person I'd have to say Dave Murray and Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden). But I'd have to think a minute. I've seen quite a few bands over the years.

cmjohnson,

I'm almost positive that I remember the picture of the curly-haired guy playing the blue Les Paul from over at the MIMF or Project Guitar forums - somewhere. I am always over at the 13th fret and OLF forums as my first love is acoustics. Soon I will undertake to complete my first archtop. It will end up essentially being a Gibson 125 with the Florentine cutaway and 2 P90's. Anyway, nice looking work.

I've been playing for, I guess, 32 years now, although there have been spans of time where I didn't pick up a guitar for several years (I'm in the middle of one of those now...). More of a Vai fan, and especially a Morse fan, but EVH was the man in his day. My guitars have always been Strat based, although I've owned a Paul or two over the years.

Of these, I have sold the aluminum bodied Strat and the double-neck Carvin. I still have several other Strats that I haven't bothered to photo as well as another Jem and a few acoustics (two Ovations and one Taylor).

The Jackson and the Charvel are the closest thing I'l ever have to a Fender. Don't care for them at all.

Welcome to arfcom!

Nice collection of guitars. I am currently on week 8 of lessons. It is coming along better than I thought.

I have a goal...an urban digital duracoated electric of somekind. I'll have to send it in to a DuraCoat Dealer here to get it done. Just don't know when and which one I am going to buy.

Some of us here have collections like that, they are just AR's
