Congress now says the illegals can break our laws, take our benefits and jobs and get away with it.
They refuse to enforce our laws, AND they will do nothing to stop millions more from coming into the US.
IF 11 MILLION DO NOT HAVE TO OBEY THE LAW--WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF 300 MILLION BROKE THE LAW AND ON APRIL 15TH STOPPED PAYING TAXES!!!!!!

DO SOMETHING----go to NRA-ILA and email your Reps!!!

You don't pay taxes on April 15th. You file a tax return.

Your taxes are, most likely, witheld from every paycheck. And if you refuse to file, then the IRS can simply take more and more money from your paycheck as they already have that ability.

Yes, I am QUITE aware of that...

Per IRS FAQ, Ref Publication 505, Tax Withholding and Estimated Tax, Chapter 2.

Your first estimated tax payment is usually due the 15th of April.

What I was trying to say was there are a lot of people who do PAY taxes on (or should I say due by) April 15th, be they business owners, contractors, or employees whose withholdings were insufficent to cover their owed taxes, etc. Not everyone just files a return and waits for their colordy check in the mail.

No, but the overwhelming majority of people in the nation DO.

The reason you can't get most folks to stop paying taxes is that the IRS has enforcement powers and will implement them. Don't pay taxes, they'll just take more out of your check. You will eventually end up in jail in the long run.

Concerning the illegals running amock in the streets and protesting everywhere, there are agencies with enforcement powers. The problem is they won't implement them since it isn't PC to do so for some reason.

Logistically it is more difficult, too.

All the IRS has to do to get more money from you is punch a couple of numbers into a computer system and bingo: you just been penalized, boah!

Now if you just got here via Mexico and were working off the books while cooking and selling meth....Well there isn't much the IRS can do to you....

So true. So true. One of the advantages of the illegals.....living off the grid like John Connor.

Well, what most americans don't understand is the system in which we live.

The W-4 is an optional document. No one needs to file it. There are provisions for is you do not. The bigger question is WHO is supposed to file it. Companies that have an EIN are required to ask for you to complete it. (Another question is: who really needs an EIN?) Once the W-4 is in hand, the system can begin to function. The SSN is on the W-4. Who is required to have a SSN? Not the common american. Most of us have one now days because the IRS required it for us to be claimed as a dependent. (This only started in the 1970's) Clearly, if you were not claimed, then you never needed a SSN. Without that SSN, you can;t complete the W-4. Americans are generally good people, and knowing they have a SSN, they will find it ut anc complete the form. The person has made their first mistake. They assumed that the government and/or the person requesting the W-4 has legitimate authority and a requirement to do so.

“Persons dealing with government are charged with knowing government statutes and regulations, and they assume the risk that government agents may exceed their authority and provide misinformation” Lavin v. Marsh, 644 F.2nd 1378, 9th Cir., (1981)

“All persons in the United States are chargeable with knowledge of the Statutes-at-Large…. It is well established that anyone who deals with the government assumes the risk that the agent acting in the government’s behalf has exceeded the bounds of his authority." Bollow v. Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, 650 F.2d 1093, 9th Cir., (1981)

Once a W-4 has been recorded, the whole system swings into motion. It is the W-4 that creates the requirement that the W-2 be issued. And without that W-2, there is no presumption of income from your job at the IRS.

The next question is what is "income"
We must reject in this case, as we have rejected in cases arising under the Corporation Excise Tax Act of 1909, the broad content on submitted in behalf of the government that all receipts-everything that comes in-are income within the proper definition of the term 'gross income,'" Southern Pacific V. Lowe, 247 U.S. 330 (1918)

"'From whatever source derived,' as it is written in the Sixteenth Amendment, does not mean from whatever source derived." WRIGHT v. UNITED STATES, 302 U.S. 583 (1938)

So the question remains, what is income that has to be reported to the IRS?

What if we devised a tax amnesty bill that forgave 100% taxes for those who have not paid taxes at all for >5 years in a row, 50% of taxes for those who have cheated 2-5 years, and 25% for those who cheated 2 years or less? That is how much sense the “progressive rewards” make for those who have violated our laws. The people who have been here illegally for a longer period of time should not be granted greater benefits for longer violations. The illegals are by definition income tax evaders. Last time I checked, that was a serious crime
