Is this old news?

Went to wally world today to buy some ammo and noticed they have WWB value packs in stock again for the first time in over a year.

I said I'd take the whole lot of 10 boxes which rang up at $99.80. Wooooh nelly, hold it, they used to be $7.76. Cashier informs me they are now $9.98 a box wtf!

No thank you.

I saw some the other day when I was buying ammo.

Me: "Hey what's the price on those WWB 40 packs?"
Him: "Nine...blah blah blah"
Me: (American Dollars?)

I got my other stuff and got the heck out of there. Are they crazy? I remember paying $6 and some change.

Happened about 2 months ago around here.

Bought a box of UMC .30 carbine yesterday, tag said 14.48 but rung up at 16.78.

Always the lowest price. BS

Inflation caused by higher gas prices. I have been expecting it since Clinton got elected.

It went up here too. The Rem/UMC 55gr was $3.97 now it's $4.78. Still not bad and it's good ammo.

I thought it was self-evident why the price went up:

NG Ammo

$0.249 a round.
Wow, looks like Wal-Mart is helping out the mom & pop ammo shop.

That is about the price of Ammoman's M193.

I noticed the same, marked as $7.73 but rang up for $9.something, bitched about it and got the $7.73 price.

if they moved up to $10 a box, then i'll just exclusivly buy black hills remanufactured for $11/50 rounds...

black hills beats winchester any day - especially when it's the same price.

My brother-in-law works in purchasing at Wal-Mart . He said that due to a particular day where all their WWB inventory was cleaned out nationwide, they felt they could raise the price.
