Just to make sure that there wasn't any question that it was no longer a joking mood in that thread. Because I thought the 'tag' line was a sort of joke in and of itself by TBK1.

Like I said, I have nothing in this either way, I read it and it took me by surprise when he was banned. Kind of like how a good cop warns the drunk about to get in his car and maybe offers him a ride home, instead of letting him get in and drive a few blocks just so he can bust him for DUI.

Didn't you realize? Tagging a thread with a wink-wink smiley means imminent banning if you proceed.

Anyways according to Eric (Greywolf 2112) apparently it was locked because there was a racial slur in the URL I am not going to say the word for fear of TBK1 locking my account as well. I know Eric and have for a couple of years, He can't stand political correctness, which my view on this is if the show can air on public access TV during primetime why in the hell can it not be shown on AR15.com the thing that really bothers me is the following.

We Can Say Hippie, Redneck, white trash, cracker or Honky but don't you dare say a damned thing about any other race or religion. We are all supposed to be adults here, and we all mostly share the same basic views we hate illegal immigration.

We all hate these things but don't you dare ever ever make a negative comment about any of them, unless it is Protestant bashing then it is ok. But in the end don't you dare piss TBK1 off.

I have never had any dealings with staff or mods none whatsoever, however I think that, this was taken way to far.

I'm a little confused. I was ready to pony up the cash for a membership here and now this. I don't see where something that was aired on basic cable TV could be so offensive to warrant a banning. And I really don't see where someone tagging a post constitutes a "warning".

But, like I said I'm pretty damn new here, so WTF do I know.

Nothing new here.

I was banned/locked/whatever back in 2001 for much much less, and no warning whatsoever.

To make it even more absurd, trolls like gunkid were running around rampant all over the place. Who did they give the boot??? Me for making fun of a transvestite who sold me a copy of Shotgun News at a local mall.

I have long suspected that perhaps the offended moderator bats for the other team.
