Saw it on Fox News. Apologized for her actions and supported the resolution commending the Capitol Police.

I bet when she turns around, you'll see a big chunk of her ass missing.

I guess she realized that she is about to be indicted/charged, and is trying to weasel out of it.

They should charge her anyway - and use this public statement as an admission of guilt in court.

Yep! Party-opponent admissions offered against that party aren't hearsay.

Damn, I actually believe her now, there's no way security could forget a face like that.

sort of -- she did spend $1000 to fly Isaac Hayes to a fundraiser. Usually that's not a problem -- unless you spend it from your office budget like she did.

I didn't include a link because I watched it on television, Brainiac. If I had said that I read it on a news web-site, I would have included a link.

Sweet sweet irony, a nimrod calling someone brainiac.

Wait...in a thread about Cynthia Mckinney...a trifecta!

From DU(h).com
"Call today: Resolution commedning Dick Cheney's Secret Service Detail

I just called Rep. Stephen Lynch to suggest a resolution to commend Dick Cheney's Secret Service detail for keeping local authorities from interviewing him for 16 hours after getting drunk and shooting a man in the face.

I suggest we all call our various Congress-critters and do the same:

Congress:

202-224-3121
888-818-6641
800-426-8073

Cynthia McKinney should have just gotten drunk and shot the guy in the face.

They would have given her 16 hours to sober-up before the cops could talk to her, and then the whole thing would have gone away.

She could have said she thought he was a quail.

And then the cop would have apologized.

And she would be making jokes about it at the Grid Iron Club.

Almost as funny as, "Those WMDs have gotta be somewhere...""

8. Thank God!!!
She was an absolute distraction. She sounded stupid and quite frankly this situation was a disgrace to all of her previous accomplishments.

This was the least damaging way to end the situation with minimal damage to the GOP fall / DEM gains. Let's see if we can step back and keep our mouths shut while the GOP self-destructs... shall we?

AS A GEORGIA DEMOCRAT... I was embarrased to be associated with her. Although I work in her district, THANK GOD I actually live in Rep. Lewis' district. Talk about AWESOME...

WHAT?!? Her own people are embarrassed of her????!!!!!????? I find that shocking. Well, I guess UDenver20 is of the opinion that Cynthia EVIL BITCH Mckinney accomplished something in her miserable lifetime. (I wonder what that could be?)

It is always funny to see when one of the radical leftists goes SOOOO far off the deep end that the others have to actually stop and think about it. You can almost see their feeble little minds all singing Cum By Ya (or whatever the hell that song is) in unison, when freakin evil bitch Frankenstein comes stomping thru the room. They would look like little gopher heads popping up out of their self induced bliss coma, rubbing their eyes.... "What was that? Huh? What did she say?" Probably took them a day to actually convince themselves that something wasn't right....

Have I mentioned I hate democrats?

Oh, and one more thing, I hate democrats.

You should give her credit, for apologisiing. I think it will go along way during her felony sentencing for assaulting a police officer.

Well she should apologise and she should be arrested.
One doesnt negate the other.

Isn’t having a criminal record a requirement to be in the democratic party or at least to run for office as a Democrat?

That bitch is running scared is the ONLY reason she is apologizing now. She and the rest of the D's will now expect all charges to be dropped and for everything to get back to normal of them slandering republicans and Bush. Rant off!

If you or I assaulted a uniformed police officer, who was trying to stop us from doing something potentially illegal, we would be arrested and put in jail for assaulting an officer and potentially resisting arrest. Add on disorderly conduct and whatever else the DA could think up.

There are different rules in todays society for "different" people.

Same as being above the law, and not being held accountable for your actions are the hall mark of republicans.

Her lawyer is as bad as her. He was on Hannity and Colmes last night and he kept referring to Tom Delay as "the rich white boy". God you have to love double standards and the idiots that allow them to continue to exist.

It's the Democrat ghetto vote that gets her in office. There's another looney down in Houston that gets elected the same way.
Link Posted: 4/6/2006 10:45:55 AM EDT
She got off easy. If it had been another other mortal soul, they would have been face down on the ground and in cuffs. And we would be telling the judge, "I'm sorry."

I saw that also and what I couldn't believe was how that p*ssy weasel Holmes just sat there and agreed with that racist SOB. It's unreal how minorities can get away with the racist BS they spew in public.

One can only hope she didn't have a deal lined up (i.e. that this was predicated on that).

Day late and a dollar short. She's in deep shit and just not starting to understand. Yes, her lawyer is a poindexter. Somehow I think outside witnesses probably don't have an axe to grind in this one.

www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/04/06/mckinney/index.html

This is from the CNN Article: "Senior congressional sources said that two House staff members -- Troy Phillips, an aide to Rep. Sam Farr, D-California, and Lisa Subrize, executive assistant to Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, R-Michigan -- have been subpoenaed to testify."

And her lawyer: "James Myart, an attorney representing McKinney, said he wouldn't be surprised if his client were indicted.

"Grand juries do what grand juries do," Myart said. "However, I would think that they would recognize that there simply is not enough evidence here to even bring an indictment." "

Thanks for the sanitizing, TBK. Can we get the portion I underlined added to the CoC? Not to terminate ppl's accounts, but just so they *have* to see it. Some ppl do it because they forget; others do it because they don't realize what can be done w/ that info.
