I've always copied my originals and watched the copies, but there has been a degradation in quality relating to the compression from Shrink, even when I reauthor I often need to compress to some degree.  I never bought dual layer disks before because of the cost.  Now that they are down to around $2 a disk, it is becoming affordable to do so... why back up a $15 disc with a $10 blank media was my thinking.  So I suffered through single layer discs until now.

Problem is DVD Shrink and Xcopy to my knowledge do not support DVD9 Dual Layer.  I know my Nero will burn them as it asks you to insert a blank media... DVD+-R or RW or DVD9.

What program, preferably free, will do a straight 1:1 copy?

I have Decryptor but honestly, it doesn;t have the easiest userface.  If not too much to ask, would you mind posting some instructions.

I have one drive, so it will read from the original, copy to a temp folder and then need to be burned with Nero most likely.

OK, my copy of Decrypter seems to be corrupted, keep getting error messages when I try to burn the ISO image.  Anybody know an alternate source for this, or another good freeware program?
