Hillary is evil personified, McCain just has Dain Bramage.  I am currently reading "Dereliction Of Duty" by Robert Patterson about the Clinton presidential years . Patterson was an Air Force officer that ended up being an aide carrying the "nuclear football" for several years.  Everyone should check it out of the liberry and read it.

I bought three copies when it came out: one for me, one for my grandmother, and one for my father-in-law.

McCain has no money and no support within the party. He's also 70 years old.

Big time. He is way too old. Plus he is a high mileage 70 year old.
Most importantly, he will never be able to raise the required cash it takes to win.
No stinkin' way. How about a Gingrich/ Buchanon ticket?

Yup.  And remember, AZ dollars != NY dollars.

McCain will get crushed in the South in the primary, just like in '00.  He's already been trying to garner support from GOP leaders here and is getting the cold shoulder.

That is some Grade-A stupid right there.

nope I would too... I would much rather the shit hit the fan and a civil war occur when im young and able to deal with it then a slow boil.

This may be one of the absolute stupidest things i've ever read here.  A civil war? please.

Bush ain't running for re-election.  That said, McCain has no chance at a nomination.  Most of the GOP hates his attention whore guts.

End of story for now, maybe.  How many of those ~12 million illegals do we have here that may soon be able to validly vote?  They breed like rabbits too.

You have a solid point there.  On the one hand, they don't assimilate.  They bunch up and hopefully only effect  a couple unlucky counties.  I'm in the Peoples Republic of Austin, a so called "haven" city.  I had some emergency surgery awhile back and had to wait 5 hours to get in the ICU because it was full of illegal mexicans.

So I'm supposed to vote for the guy who may be slightly less of a socialist gun grabbing border opening prick?  I don't get it. If a scumbag is going to win, I'm supposed to vote for one of them and not someone who reflects my true beliefs?

I don't think that McCain would be that much less disastrous to America then Hellary.....so do I take the poison that kills me in my sleep or when I'm awake?

I don't buy it.

I hear what you are saying buddy.  You know that McCain means son of Cain?  Anyway, I don't think either will get the nomination, thank God.  From what I've read, the dems think hillary could win the nomination but lose the presidency.  Did you catch this a few years ago;  Hillary when asked why she was named "Hillary", explained that her mother named her after Sir Edmund Hilary after he climbed Mt Everest.  Some reporter looked into this and found that Sir Edmund accomplished his feat in 1953;however Hillary Rodman Clinton was born in 1947.

Less than half of eligible voters actually vote. Common wisdom is that the majority of Americans are just too lazy and apathetic to be bothered, I don't buy it.

I think most of those people just don't believe it makes any difference, that they'll be screwed either way.

If a third party could get half of those people to the polls they'd win in a landslide even if every current voter stuck with the mainstream parties.

Someday soon a third party candidate is going to be viable, probably not in '08, but soon enough that we need to be considering it. The current economic/political status quo is unraveling, and the real implosion is yet to come.

When you vote for evil, even if it's only to keep the greater evil out of power, you empower that evil, it grows, soon it's just like the greater evil, and the greater evil is even worse. That's assuming of course that the system isn't designed to do just that, making them all equally evil, since they're all playing for the same collectivist team...

I said in '04 whatever party was in power after the 2004 elections was likely to fall apart before 2008, they've actually done a better job of spinning things than I thought possible, but 2008 is a long ways away yet, I don't think this will be the arguement in 2008, it'll be what the hell are we going to do about the mess we're in?

Voting for a shitball candidate (D or R by his/her name) also lends that candidate's election legitimacy.

I'd rather see Hitlery win over McCain. It might actually wake the hell up the conservative republicans and get them out of their cocoons they seem to be in. Damn party has been taken over by RINOs and f--ktards like Bloomturd. If we keep re-electing them back in they will never change the gun grabbing  yellow stripe that rides up their backside. Libs are at least honest about f--king us, you can fight that politically.

Mccain to Rodent:  "You wanna be the man or the woman?"

Hillary to America: "Does you wanna be da husband, or does you wanna be da wife?"
