It's funny as hell, and one of my favorite zombie flicks. Watch it.

What is Shuan of the Dead? Is it anything like Shaun of the dead?

one of the more educational Zombie movies, you can learn alot from it, study in case of an invasion.

"ah! hes got an arm off!"

:ya got some red on ya laddy"

Funny

"She's horny, Shaun!"
Link Posted: 4/2/2006 8:33:55 PM EDT
ok it's in,, I'll post my thought on it later. Should be interesting, since I'm not a real Zombie afficianado. I have only seen the original Night of the Living Dead (does the Omega Man count?)
Link Posted: 4/2/2006 8:34:01 PM EDT
I've met some brits who hate it. I think it hits a little too close to home.
Link Posted: 4/2/2006 8:47:15 PM EDT
I loved it! Funiest zombie flick ever!

Just reminded me to go pick up a copy

Well so far I want a cricket bat.
Link Posted: 4/2/2006 9:13:31 PM EDT
I liked it.

It was funny.

Don't expect a lot and you won't be disappointed.

I liked it.

Brits are funny when they get overrun by zombies and have no guns.

28 days later i worth looking into also.
Link Posted: 4/2/2006 9:26:15 PM EDT
Just finished watching it myself. I normally like British humor, and there were a few funny parts, but in general I'm not a fan of the movie.

Link Posted: 4/2/2006 9:33:01 PM EDT
I ran it under a cold tap!
Link Posted: 4/2/2006 9:35:09 PM EDT
real life satire. it's great.
Link Posted: 4/2/2006 9:38:40 PM EDT
it's an alright movie....just don't leave your expectations too high and you'll enjoy it!

Might want to edit out that spoiler there.

But I really liked that movie. His roommate is awesome!
Shaun.... I'm sorry......

It's funny.

Some arfcommers just tend to hate everything.

Great movie.

You'd have to be a connaisseur of old school zombie movies to truly appreciate it.

If you actually pay attention to the movie some of the small tid bits of humor are genius.

Not great, not bad. I liked how he had "Ed" in the shed at the end.
Link Posted: 4/2/2006 10:11:19 PM EDT
"Shit she's engaged."
"That was fast.."

Great movie... with classic one-liners.

Best zombie movie ever, bar none.

The others are just too grim.

The main guy, Shaun, is in tons of little tiny flicks that are funny. There's one where a girl asks him if he speaks English, and he's saying no, and pointing her in the direction of people that might. Pretty funny.. sounds lame.

"How many are there?"
".. lots"

"Kill the queen!"
"What?!"
"The jukebox!"

A decent Zombie flick but with that British dry wit. It starts off as a sort of comedy but ends up a serious zombie movie.

DISCLAIMER: It must be considered to be only for entertainment purposes. It's not a training film or documentary. While some of the tactics are based in fact, many are simply dramatic license to cover holes in the plot.

I usually enjoy the mindless humor, but I hated this movie.
Link Posted: 4/3/2006 6:24:36 AM EDT
It was amusing to see once, but I don't think it has any replay value.
Link Posted: 4/3/2006 6:31:34 AM EDT
Great flick, my favorite zombie movie.
Link Posted: 4/3/2006 6:32:16 AM EDT
not easily amused

I thought it was VERY well-written, very well directed, very well acted, and the pacing was excellent. It takes quite a bit for me to really like a movie - I only own about 10. There are a lot of other movies I like, but not enough to buy. Shaun of the Dead is one that I own.

Damned funny

Shaun to friends (mixed company): "He's not that bad really, he's a great heart on him that one"

Ed coming back to the table: "Right then, any o' you cunts want a drink?"

The Brits seem to have more interest in zombies than Americans. Almost every episode of Dr Who has zombies of one form or another.

What SubnetMask said! You have to watch it several times to pick up on all the little things and the British humor, but it's funny as hell.
Link Posted: 4/3/2006 9:07:35 AM EDT
oh yea, laughed my ass off.

I laugh now when I fly thru Amman Jordan and the list of things you cannot bring on the plane includes cricket bat.
