i beleive they are called a lunar/luna (something like that) moth. see them all the time here around the plant with all the outside lights.

Thanks guys. I wonder why the tail part is different. Maybe something to do with age or sex. [shrug]
That mothman thing looks like a good test target for my Defender.

It was very lethargic when I caught it, and I thought it was going to die, but when the sun started going down it got real active. I let it go, and it took off like crazy.
