'cause it looks cool? Only thing I could ever figure. Like LEO ammo. Or it could mean "this model has been tested for LEO/Military use", unlike a scope that hasn't gone through the military reliability testing crap. |

I looked at a scope from Redfield one time that they only sold to military and LEO. It had a type of reticle that wasn't offered in any other scope. (I have no idea why).
