On the old site someone had a pic of the CAR with 550 cord wrapped around the entire length of the hardgaurds.  Does anyone have this pic?

I think that is Bishop's gun, or possible Uglygun.  But I'm pretty sure you are thinking about Bishop's micro-CAR (7"), try emailing him.
