Tempered glass all over the deck.
The umbrella was down but it looks like the wind grabbed it and started putting a lot of stress on the hole in the middle.
Buy just the glass or a whole new table not made of glass?

That is why I HATE glass for shelves and tables.

I will NEVER use the stuff. I am just paranoid about it.

That and glass coffee tables can be hard to see. My shins have proof!

Was just thinking the same thing. By the time you find a place that will cut it to fit your table (tempered
glass won't be cheap, and will cost even more to cut to fit your specs), it's going to be pricey! You
might want to just check on what a whole new table will cost.

Probably going to get a new table. No glass this time.
It was only 8 years old

A new table will probably be cheaper than glass. All it takes is a small scratch and then a little heat or stress and then 'boom'! Hell of a mess, wasn't it? You will probably be finding little, tiny squares of glass for the next ten years....

Was it made by Glock?

hopefully I don't find it with my feet. I'm gonna have to be pretty thorough on the cleanup

I did an indoor glass table in college. Put a hot pizza on it. Boom glass everywhere. Lucky the box wasn't open on the pizza though

I feel your pain.

Last summer I learned a costly lesson in thermodynamics.

Take a hot day. 90+

+ A glass patio table in the sun.

+ T-bones in a plastic marinade container.

Did I mention the T-bones weren’t quite thawed yet?

+ Have bright idea to set partially frozen steaks on table, in sun to thaw them quicker.

Be looking through the kitchen window when the dogs suddenly jump and act all nervous. Then look in the direction of the table and realize that a very cold object on a very hot object can have unintended consequences.
