Is anyone here familiar with these early variants? It has no instruction manual or info and I'd like to know anything anyone can tell me about it?

Go to www.airsoftzone.com  and search the player database for "sniper"  

He'll be the one with about 100 airsoft guns.  He lives in Japan and knows a hell of alot about early airsoft guns.  You're one lucky guy to own one of these.  Where did you get yours?

Thanks for the lead, I'll certainly e-mail him.  I found it on the 'net for a $100 del., bad part is there are a couple of parts missing and I'm 'blind' on knowing what I need.
