I think the green 16's are beautiful. But, I am Kaliban.

I'd prefer the SBR as well, but its not legal in my state. The 16" barrel yields about a +150 fps gain in velocity.

Seems like a varmint fun gun. The civilian round fragments with less than satisfactory penetration for self-defense (what I read in many places). I would like to know otherwise if anyone has info.

$2,000.00   Reserve Not Met

You've got to be shitting me.  Wait 8 months and buy the damn thing at $1399.

Same sort of idiots that had to have an XBOX360.

Wait in line first. The folks getting their orders in 8 months from Dec 05 had their pre-orders in around 2004.

Which means FN will ramp production to sell more guns and increase the supply and shorten wait times.

We'll see how the supply and demand looks in Oct-Nov.

I pre-ordered in January and got mine in March.

I was smart enough not to pre-order from Impact.

How much did you pay?  Close to the suggested $1400, right?

So here's a guy on gunbroker with a >$2000 reserve.

And people are bidding, lol.

As cool as that thing is, I wouldn't want a semi auto. Not even for $500.

Some guns just have to be select fire.

I believe it was $1525 or somewheres there abouts.

If I get one from the second pre-order you just might see me selling one on GB for 2000+

I pre-ordered Dec 05 and got it in Jan 06 from CMMG, about $1750. I was going to get my mags and accessories from CMMG until I learned that others were getting PS90s for $300-$400 below my price. Needless to say I got my mags and ammo elsewhere for much less, but it's a capitalism after all and it goes both ways.

no thanks.  ammo for that thing would eat me alive.  70 cents per shot = $21/mag!  100 mags and you have spent the cost of the gun in ammo!

The ammo will drop in price towards the end of this year and next year due to more ammo coming in (Fiocchi has helped out with production of SS197SR). There is a definite demand for 5.7x28 so more ammo makers will possibly step in. It's not extremely expensive to make these little buggers as they require less brass, less powder, and less lead/aluminum for the core material than the average 45 Auto or 9mm Luger. Rhineland Arms is coming out with a 5.7 AR upper, and some barrels for bolt-guns will be chambered for 5.7x28

I have always wanted a P90 since I first saw one in the news 10+ years ago. Now the 5.7x28 disease is kicking in my system and I want a Five-seveN pistol!

Very few guns / rifles do I simply just not like the look of.

And that's one of them.

I wouldn't have one if they were $500 apiece.

To each their own.

I got a couple of 2200 rd cases for my FiveseveN before the price hikes.

So i'm good until the new stuff comes in.

Get a 5.7 USG.  The other ones have an extended trigger guard that makes finding a holster hard.

wow gunbroker lists a whole bunch of USGs but at the $700-$800+ mark

I wish Glock made a 5.7x28 pistol.

I got a tip from a guy on HKPRO, called a gun shop up in PA, and got their last one at $1599 a couple weeks ago.
My FFL buddy is getting me 20 boxes of ammo at $16/box, and he can get me a new five-seven for about $800
so my PS90 will have a baby brother pretty soon.
:)
it does look a little odd, but the top-loading magazine, 50 rounds, and the spent casings ejecting from the bottom instead of the side are all awesome ideas for a rifle.
And you know what else? they pulled it off, the things is badass.
