Police search for suspect in Jenkins Brick holdup

At approximately 7:19 a.m. Tuesday, a Hispanic male entered the Jenkins
Brick Company at 5623 U.S. Highway 431 South.
The suspect milled around in the store as if to purchase some items and
then approached the clerk and pulled a small pistol from his person and
demanded the cash from the store. The clerk told him that they did not
have any money.
He then left the store and got into a small blue car, possibly a Ford
Probe, and left the business traveling Highway 431 South.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male approximately 5 foot, 7
inches tall and dressed in a blue shirt with a gray hood and dark blue
jeans.
Anyone who might have been in the area around this time and may have
seen this car or person is asked to contact the detective division at
the Police Department at 891-8274 or Police
Dispatch at 878-1212.
