Until they nest in your attic and raise their brood.

I'm gonna guess it's a Western Gray Squirrel, but perhps this link will be some help as there are plenty to choose from here: www.squirrels.org/photo.html

ETA - Oops, spoke too soon, it's a "ROCK Squirrel", see the pic at link above....

Mike

Here lets see if it'll show up here:

seems the rock was the key.......

From the link: The well-named Rock Squirrel is often seen sitting on or running among rocks and makes its den in a burrow beneath them.

There were detailed instructions with pics in the Survival Forum a few months ago on how to get them ready for the pot. We skinned a few as kids (hell of a lot harder than peeling a bananna) but my mom said, "Not in my kitchen" (or words to that effect). Some people like their brains mixed in their scrambled eggs.

Some people like cats, some people like dogs. Personally I find squirrels to be intesting animals to watch.

We used to cook them in the crock pot over night and then get up in the morning and make gravy off the meat. Good eating. These were eastern grays and fox squirrels. They are a PITA to skin out but are much easier with two people and a good pair of wire cutters for the amputations.
