Hi folks,

I ordered a 9mm RRA midlength on February 6th. I talked to Pete last week and he said that he had yet to recieve any from RRA.

I was wondering if anyone had an idea on the wait for a rifle such as this?

Any first-hand experience?

Thanks in advance.

Also, please don't turn this into a Legal Transfers bashing thread. I have dealt with Pete before and think he's a good guy.

wait time usually has nothing to do with the dealer, but rather the manufacturer. What separates the dealers is their communication skills with the customer. Also...whether or not they have anything in stock - but that goes back to communication.

I like to order only after I speak to a dealer and I KNOW they have something on the shelf. Though sometimes I don't mind a wait if I'm partial to a particular dealer.

That way, you know you're getting it in a week or less.

So...you're question....(since you've already spoken to Pete at Legal Transfers)....is more of an RRA order question.

I think someone posted last week that wait on an upper was about 60-90 days.

Check the industry forum. Ask RRA directly.

I ordered 3 uppers from Pete on 2-7-06. One arrived last week, another this week, and I'm still waiting for my 24" varmint only because RRA is waiting on stainless barrels from Wilson.

If your Class 3 does not have it in stock, GOOD LUCK. I bought my AAC Pilot .22 Walther and my dealer had it in stock it took about 30 days, now I ordered a 5.45 Krink can from AAC it is about almost a year I have been waiting. That's why I said good luck!

I'm asking about a Rock River Arms 9mm rifle, not a silencer.

RRA is brtual like that... great product, but expect a wait for certain parts.

I've been waiting since 1/24 for a 16" chrome lined bbl.

Last time I ordered anything from RRA, was 2 years ago and I waited for about 2 months for a stripped lower.
