Terrorists injured launching Kassams

Three Palestinian terrorists identified as members of the Popular Resistance Committees were injured Wednesday morning during an attempt to fire Kassam rockets at Israel, Palestinian security forces reported.

The rockets prematurely exploded before they were launched, the officials said.

The IDF, which has been shelling Kassam launch sites in the Gaza Strip in response to the barrage of rockets fired at Israel since Tuesday evening, denied involvement in Wednesday's incident.

Palestinians launched five Kassams at Israel Wednesday morning. Four landed in Palestinian territory, and one landed in open Israeli territory in the western Negev. No one was wounded and no damage was reported as a result.

While Kassams land in or near Israel almost daily, the latest barrage - 13 rockets since Tuesday evening - appears to be a response to Tuesday's violent conflict at the Jericho Prison between Palestinian security prisoners and the IDF following the departure of British and American observers from the prison premises.

One explodes on the launcher and 80% hit friendly territory.

I don't know why the IDF is shelling them, looks like they need to encourage them.
