A fellow AZ member just gave me what must be 30 pounds of Elk that consisted of rump roasts, roasts, steaks, and ground meat.

I absolutely LOVE Elk, and another friend has a great marinade for them, but I'd like to try a few variations. I don't want to Google it, because I want tried and true recipes and marinades so I don't ruin what I consider an extremely generous gift of my favorite food. I can cut up the roasts into whatever suggestions y'all have, and I am thinking of making one of the smaller roasts into jerky.

What say you? Teach me to marinade and cook some AWSOME Elk.
