Up to 84degF today, partly cloudy.
Wait, let me say that again. Up to 84degF today. Wha'happened? It was in the high 60s yesterday, and the 30s a week ago! This is Northern Virginia, the absolute topmost point of the south, too, it's not like Burns-Through-Shoes, Arizona here! |

The storm that hit the West Coast is now traveling eastward. You can see the front moving eastwardly in the satalite pictures.
BTW: This rain should be good with all of the drought and fires in N. Texas. |

The weather's been freaky all winter here. We were getting 60 degree weather (in Buffalo) in January. This morning, there were thunderstorms and driving the kids to school, I couldn't see the roads, it was coming down in sheets. It's usually still snow and ice on the ground at this time of year here.
