That's awesome. My Dad put me behind my Marlin 60 at age 5. It's not my fault, I'm an addict now. I'm "a product of my environment!" I refused to let him buy me a scope, so I saved my own money and bought a 4x Tasco Proghorn. Back when Tasco wasn't total crap. Still use the gun and scope to this day, still shoots great, optics are still crisp as can be. Ahh, memories.

Woooaaaaaahhh. That is just to young in my opinion. I hope that was a joke. That's like having your Two year old steer your car for you.

I have no words to describe just how proud I am of parents who bring up their children the proper way they should grow and develop. Closest I've come to educating is an ex-g/f's brother at the range with educating him on firearms.

And if you have neighbors who have kids who want to go shooting - get on it!!!!! The 2nd Amendment may be a God given right but do not leave it up to God to ensure your posterity has rights which is can enjoy freely.

My three year old was asking where I was the other day, and my wife told him I was off being a "warrior". He ran to his room, and came out and said I want to be a warrior too. She took this.

Here's one I took of my son when I was home on leave in December. He just turned three a few weeks ago. I cannot wait until he old enough to go shooting with me.

21 more days to go until my year in Korea is done and I get return home to him and his mother.

Your nephew is straight out of the 80s.

I got started on shooting when I was about 12 or 13.

This one is sure to get Leftists in your local school system calling the Department of Child and Human Services.

Tag. Great pics in here.

I printed the 4 rules from the AR section for my 7 y/o. When he can recite and demonstrate them with a bb gun he gets to go shooting with the adults.

He's trying real hard as he wants to shoot the AR he helped to build.

My kids were started young too. My daughter is more the avid shooter/hunter than my sons. When my daughter was 6 we toured the depot and one of the troops asked her if she wanted to shoot the M16 and she said "No" in her little sweet voice "My Mommy has one of those. I'd rather shoot your 50"

Great pics people!

My daughter wanted to go shooting last weekend. "Something big." She wanted to shoot my "Saving Private Ryan" gun. The rest of the world calls it an M1 Garand.

She shoots pretty darn good. And this was only the second time she shot it. She shot up a belt of ammo. That's 10 clips at 8rds a clip. Actually, I shot off about 6 rds or so. But I missed a great pic oppertunity because I didn't have a camera along. Sitting on shelf (rimrock country) and shooting downhill at a target about 80yds out. 3 o'clock sun gleaming off the black receiver and grease, great background. I just sat there grinning at her. It was a beautiful sight. Maybe I can recreate it after this weekends snow melts. 65°/dry last weekend, this weekend it's 25° with 8" of snow. Gotta' love late winter/early spring in the Colorado Rockies.
