Anyone here done this? Its like $50-75 more than loacal but if its quicker turn around time and no real JBTs involved on my end I may be game. I dont have high speed internet here so I cant get a full feel of the site right now but they responded to EMails pretty darn quick.

According to the website it only covers the classroom portion.

You will still need to show some kind of hands on training, a basic handgun safety class or DD214 are stated as acceptable.

Why would you want Utah's CCW?  Any specific reason?

Do all the same states that accept Utahs accept Michigans? I dont know. A. It seems a little faster. B. From what I understand you just watch the video, get finderprints from a notary, get a cheesy ass pistol cert. and send them in then just wait a bit. Here Id have to run around town, deal with police (attitudes unknown), make more than one trip to the county building ect. This way it seems to be all at my convience.

Anyone know how often you have to renew in UT?

My opinion is that this is worthless to you. You have to take a class from an NRA certified instructor which includes 3 hours of range time (ask me how I know that). How you gonna satisfy that online? Pay the $150 dollars, blow a Sunday and take the REAL class.
