digging hole

pouring cement

More or less finished interior

Finished exterior-which i did too

Siding/facia/eaves doing the deck this year

was alot of work, but worth it. Estimated around 45k to finish-not including new basement area which (will)add a bedroom/office and bathroom. Taxes went up 1K they said the value of the house went up 120k (more than I paid for the original

)

notes:
1. Pella windows/sliders SUCK
2. Multilook (Uniboard) SUCKS worse
3. Menards wood sucks x infinity x eleventeen

looks awesome. do you have any prior homebuilding/carpentry skills? i'd love to be able to do that someday. fix that water spout though, someone is going to trip over it at night in the dark

No REAL prior My dad did ALOT, he recently built his retirement house. The drain was just to get the water away from the basement- will be modified when the deck is built

i see them all just fine. i love it when people's pics don't work though, because then i get to use this little gem:

btw, we have pella windows as well and have had leakage/condensation problems in between the panes.
