I've said it before and I will say it again, I don't lie or bullshit (often [=D]), and I even go as far as trying to keep the staff guys informed. (Striker is the exception since his love for me has dwindled... just kidding!!! He had some personal issues so I didn't bother him with needless info at the time.)
As much as people like to think I am some dictator, single handedly handing out punishments and judgements, you're all wrong. I ask my staff for their opinion on everything from who to promote to the ranks to who should be banned for causing trouble. I try not to make decisions on many things only because I [b]AM[/b] involved with them outside of the site. So yes, MC and I talk and yes, MC and I are kewl with each other, but what happens on this site is AR15.Com business which I control as such. Warnings and incidents are dealt with as evenly as possible and it's done as a team. There are no personal vendettas against users. Kuiper is well aware of the situations as he has helped decide them. ]=) And to those looking for more troubles, I do not take things personally, including any flack from MC's site or his buddies. If it happened on the other site, it stayed on the other site. Some of it was funny while it lasted and a shame to see if go in many aspects, but some of it was a bit much including the non-stop 4th grade banter between HF and MC. Finally, [b]CUT THE CRAP BETWEEN HANGFIRE AND MCUZI[/b], this means all the bullshit posts and insults stop on this site. If you feel the need to berate each other, do it through email... and copy me in... I like fun emails. -- GB |

GB i agree with most of what you said. Mcuzi and HF crap is between them. BUt i would like to know if HF did in fact call the law and other agencies. That is totally wrong. If he did it there i am sure one day he wil do it here. I don't want to see him cause problems here.

The problem is that he will share the info if he wants, or he wont. The only other way to get that info is from people involved. I myself got involved with this and could not get names from anyone (don't think anyone knows any specific names)... all I know is that THIS site was not mentioned while a few others were.
What does that mean? Hell if I know, but I am very happy to have stayed out of it where AR15.Com is concerned. Most people here knew why MCUZI.Com was there and although there weren't many MC fans, they saw it as a good thing which helped diffuse trouble here and on other boards. Arguing or posting things to or about HF will just lead to arguments and not get anywhere. Let things go, because I highly doubt people will come out and say, "HAHAHAHA, I HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT!!!" And if they do, most likely they're just full of shit. Did HF have anything to do with it? Maybe. But was he the reason for the site's downfall? No. You can't build a case on insults and poor jokes. It takes a lot more than that... -- GB |

Understand this, what I did I did with fair notice and warning, to protect myself and my family. I have little hope you and others will understand until you are subjected to the same treatment in a similar circumstance. The firearm content of the sight was of so little import imho to classify it as a firearm sight and in any event I never mentioned firearms to the people I talked to. Your argument makes as much sense as the NRA standing up for a child pornographer just because he has a ccp or is a member of a RKBA group. The two are mutually exclusive. If your home is invaded and property stolen you call the police notwithstanding their anti-gun bias. Consideration for others who enjoyed the site? Excuse me for being so self centered as to not have one iota of thought about them. In summation, the demise of the site was I believe the result of poor business plan vision and poor business plan execution, in plain english, incompetence. Remember that more than a few people were given the mcuzi treatment. People in this community that have a lot more muscle than I will ever hope to have. |

I have no beef with HANGFIRE..
But if it is true that he, claims to be pro 2nd amendment, beats his chest like the rest of us when it comes to the Bill of Rights yet when someone yanks his panties the first thing he does is run to anti 2nd amendment originations... I say he is a big pussy that needs to grow a new pair or get back the ones that his wife keeps in her purse and act like a man or just put a rainbow sticker on the back of his car and get it over with. That is IF what is said is all true. If I am not clear like an un-mudded river then pardon my ignorance. Contacting law enforcement is one thing, contacting openly anti 2nd amendment originations while claiming to support the rights of every American citizen is another. I loved McUZI.com, great site. I was a little iffy on the racial slurs, but ya know... if I support the 2nd I better damn well support the 1st. The 1st does NOT include threats of any kind. The only thing I saw on McUZI.com that could be taken as a threat was the picture with McUZI's name on it riddled with bullet holes, good thing McUZI has a sense of humor, I sorta wish others did as well. I still don't know what happened. All I can say is it looks like HANGFIRE thinks he is above the rest of us LOWLY gun owners. Plainly with allies like HANGFIRE, we as gunowners don't need enemies. I was really excited that I as a gunowner had an internet network with which I could associate with likeminded gunowners. Be it AR15com or McUzicom. It's too bad there are people among our own group whom would see us hung, due to their own personal paradigms, which they obviously value far more highly than the welfare of gun owners as a community. Thanks to people like HANGFIRE, traitors among our own ranks are now an acceptable reality. It's about more than a UBB board, it is about a social standard which we all obviously accept. I for one find disgust in the selfishness and hypocrisy demonstrated by my peers. To SteyrAUG and the few others I respect, it has been beautiful knowing you. The rest of you can go fuck a dog. FUCK YOU.

Wow, It looks like quite a soap opera has been going on here of late.
HANGFIRE, aren't you the one here who threatened to sue a member of this board (I think it may have been the old board) when he told you to chill out, because you'd live longer? Instead of taking it as any rational person would - as a light hearted remark that you are too easily worked up over little stuff and the stress will kill you - you took it as a personal threat. This kind of hurts your credibility with me. Hiding behind lawyers (not just lawyers for groups many of us have political difference with) over matters better resolved man to man (I fail to believe you gave those McUzi folks much opportunity to react to your issues) shows a shocking lack of character. Now that everyone has got their 40 page report on this subject. Does everyone feel all warm and fuzzy inside. See there is more to life than just what you read on the computer screen. Sure I be up front and say there has been times I was sick of hearing the big McUzi word, but I don't believe him or I ever had cross words before. Which goes for a lot of people on here, I may not agree with them, but I don't target them as my enemy for life. Actually I am a lot more laid back now than what I was just a few months ago, the surgery taking away 50% of the pain I was in at the time has made much more able to take jokes or look at things in a less critical matter. I know a few people out there that I have pissed off in the past probably still sees me as one big hairy "A" hole. Anyway hope everyone can have fun, get over the upset and get back to blowing holes in object, and love them sexy babes or lust after them. [:D]

Well, it seems we've gotten all of HANGFIRE's story that we're going to get. It's called PROJECTION and RATIONALIZATION. Projection in that he has barely controllable anger that he projects onto everyone he has an issue with at the time. "I was just protecting my family." Oh, really? From the bad NRA that protects child pornographers? What the hell is the point of THAT statement? Is this your rationalization? Scary! Seems that HANGFIRE's the only person who'll ever understand his reasoning, basically because it's severely flawed and tainted by significant pschological overtones.
I don't accept his reasoning and I don't anticipate receiving any better factual information to support his actions. I supported McUzi because he at least made an effort to CREATE something. I have no respect for someone who only seeks to destroy. |

Sounds like two guys pushing each other on a school yards - across the Internet. One guy pushes the other down and then the other guy pulls a knife (or gun).
What the hell has happened to a society where two guys who have more in common than not come to hate each other so much? Left alone I can see how the situation might spiral but here in public they ought to be able to look around and see us laughing at them - or shaking our heads in disgust. Yet each continues to play their hands to "their" audience. Both men are showing weakness that they won't admit to themselves. Neither has enough sense to see that the whole thing is senseless, pointless, will go no where, and accomplish little but to drag both men down. Each must think the other the fool and knows that if they just get one more blow in it will prove them right or the better man. Never argue with a pig... it confuses the animal and make you look stupid. They ought to agree to disagree - whatever started the whole riff any-who? - and keep their distance until their testosterone settles or they grow older and wiser. Life is too short for lawyers, threats and hate. Does it really matter a keystroke what some idiot hiding behind a keyboard a thousand miles away thinks or says about you? If you engage in argument or debate for entertainment that's fine but this situation has gotten out of hand.
