The site was founded by Edward Avila. He moved on to other things and the effort was mostly taken over by his younger brother GoatBoy, and they jointly own the site. Their father EdAvilaSr works as Sr. Staff and directs much of the daily direction of the site. The sons deal with the html coding, legal matters, financial matters, and such, so they are rarely seen posting on the site. EdAvilaSr, along with the other Sr. Staff (Striker, Kevin (advertising), and 1GUNRUNNER (Hometown Area)), are the managers who make the decisions. Staff carry out the directives given by the Admins (rare) and Sr. Staff. Moderators serve as the eyes and ears for staff and Sr. Staff, as well as maintaining order in the forums. No one is paid for their efforts--the site is intended to be a gathering place for gun owners and a large "family," as witnessed by the recent effort to assist our dear friend 82ndAbn (tacked threads in GD). |

 G-d danm, it's amazing isn't it. If you are wierd enough, people WILL pay to watch you--apparently. That Peter-Pan creep is probably making a fair chunk of change off of selling movies of his wierdo self. ....... Anyway. You can find out who a website is registered to by looking up the domain registrant. That may not be the same thing as the owner, but it's a start: 1) Go to a site that does DNS searches, such as www.dnsstuff.com/ , then 2) enter the domain name (here it's "ar15.com") into the box named "WHOIS lookup", 3) and..... it doesn't say. But it tells you who else to bother about it. :| oh well. That's how you'd do it anyway--like, if you found a site and wanted to know what physical location the registrant listed as an address. ~~~~~~ |
