Several shots A police spokesman said: "This incident involved individuals who had been ejected from the venue for attempting to try to gain entrance to a pop concert without tickets. "Firearms were discharged and two stewards were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening." Det Insp Ian Grant said several shots, believed from a handgun, were fired. He said: "At this early stage the motive for the shooting remains unclear but there appears to have been some sort of dispute about gaining entry to the concert." Witness Ellie Cullister was stood outside getting some fresh air and was near the scene of the shooting. She told BBC WM: "I turned around and saw this group of guys and I heard a gun shot fire and three people run away. "Everyone crowded round them but the police were soon there and the stewards were telling everyone to back off and get inside. "You could not see much, but it was really frightening. The scene of the shooting remains cordoned off for forensic examination. Don't joke, they already done that... Last year Mothers Against Guns held a march in London calling for a ban on handguns after a spate of black on black shootings.... ...they forget they were already banned.
