If you hold down shift and then hit the "Print Screen" button sort of top right of your keyboard you'll save a screen shot. Then use Ctrl-v to paste it into something like MS Word, etc.

Something happened. You just didn't see it. Open Word, or some such program, minimize it, hit print screen, maximize Word (or whatever) and "paste". There's your screen shot. If you paste into a graphics program, save it as a .jpg and post it.

The only reason I say to open Word first is that sometimes opening it clears the clipboard.

"ctrl" and "v" in any photo program will work after you hit the "Print screen". Everyone has "Paint" as a program right? Try that.

Same on mine. Word seems to have this funny habit of clearing the clipboard (the ethereal place where cut/copy stuff is stored) when it opens... Seems like a stupid "feature".

Microsoft euphemism for "bug": "Unidentified Feature".
