Hiding in my room on the 14th floor looking down Bourbon St. I went outside to walk Bourbon, but the stench is overwhelming, so I returned to my hotel room. I'm here for work for the next 3 months, it was just a random chance that it included Mardi Gras.

Drinking heavily, which I will pay for tomorrow and getting ready to give up soft drinks for Lent. I love my Dr Pepper but giving it up. Funny thing is I'm not Catholic but my wife and kids are. They never seem to make it through Lent on whatever it is they give up.
